We call it Aloha After Sun, but it's so much more!
Perfect for year-round nutrient-rich skin protection. Though we call it after-sun, it's works before and after exposure to the elements – including sun, wind, snow, dry heat, extreme cold. Antioxidant botanicals known to protect from free radical damage while the emollients protect skin from moisture loss.
Use in combo with our borad-spectrum Kukui Nui Sun Mud for all your adventures. If your skin did get too much UV exposure, apply one of our hydrosols then Aloha After Sun balm or serum to cool and lock in the moisture.
Healing Botanicals
We infuse oils of kukui nut and coconut with noni and moringa, blend with the intense healing oils of tamanu, aloe, black seed, geranium oil and extracts of coconut and cucumber to heal and cool. We use a soothing virgin, organic, shea butter base with beeswax sourced from the North Shore of Kaua'i.
Aloe Oil?
Our formulation is lipid based. We wanted to incorporate an aloe that was not water soluble, which would require harsh preservatives that can irritate the skin. Reality is, aloe gel or juice is often preserved with parabens, sodium benzoate, alcohols, phenoxylethanol – even if they aren't listed on a product's label. Our aloe oil is preservative free and blends into our oil-based formulation without the need to add harsh preservatives or emulsifiers.

Product Application
Apply a small amount of our balm full body. Use lightly on the face. This product is more concentrated than you may be used to – there are no water soluble ingredients – so a little goes a long way. We recommend applying when the skin is clean and moist - use one of our Pure Hawaiian Hydrosols or right after a shower or rinsing off at the beach.

I love this moisturizer! It goes on light, but lasts all day. A tin of the moisturizer also lasts a long time. I also rub it into my nails every morning too.
