Most natural bug repellants are diluted with water, smell awful, and don't work – not a winning combo. Our Buggah! repellant spray and balm were formulated over 20 years ago whilst livin' in the mosquito-ridden jungles of Puna on Hawai'i Island. A perfected blend of oils, waxes, extracts that smell so nice you'll be tempted to use it even when the bugs aren't bugging you. All natural, yet it works… and we promise to never torture you with citronella or neem!
Our spray is convenient; apply quick and easy. Our balm has the added benefit of creating a physical barrier (with the mango butter and beeswax) that mosquitos have difficulty penetrating. Perfect for areas you're most susceptible, like lower legs / ankles. We like to use them in combo for the ultimate coverage.

Product Application
SPRAY: Shake well. Spray exposed skin. Repeat as needed.
BALM: Apply topically as needed.

Handmade in small batches with aloha on the island of Kaua'i. Cruelty-free (not to bugs). Do skin patch test. Avoid spray in face / eyes. Caution to keiki & if pregnant.

I have to share my review of Buggah Off! So I went outside at lunch to do yoga, and as fresh 5 month arriver to the islands I noticed that the mosquitoes quickly found me to be a tasty treat. I went back inside and sprayed Buggah Off! all over me. Went back outside for at least 30 mins to the same spot, and I was able to enjoy my session without having to smack an arm or a leg. 😅 smells great too!

This stuff really works and smells amazing. I bought it in Hawaii but ended up not using it until much later, camping in the Appalachian mountains. Strong recommend, especially for those who hate smelling like deet!

An amazing product made by lovely people! I recently bought the bug spray for a student group hiking and service trip. When it didn’t look like it would arrive on time (because of my lateness in ordering, not due to any delay on Hawaii Peeps’s part), Patrick personally delivered my order so that we would have it on time. The bug spray smells *lovely* and helped to keep us clear of mosquitos even while we were being swarmed when working on a farm. Five stars!!!!
